About the Trail Ride…
Our stable has over 20 years of experience offering guided forest trail rides in the beautiful Spider Lake area just 14 miles east of Hayward, WI. Enjoy our great Northwoods on horseback through 180 acres of meandering trails. When you arrive, you can expect to be greeted like family. We’ll assign you a horse based on your size and ability. A detailed riding demonstration is just one of the benefits we offer so you have a safe and comfortable ride while our courteous guides are there to help along the way. No matter when you’re riding, there’s no better way to enjoy the forest than on horseback. We have horses suitable for all abilities!

Early season riding days are Thursday through Sunday by appointment.
RATES: Some restrictions apply, and all prices include tax. Prices subject to change.
Cash discount is back!
- 1 hour Ride: $45, cash discount $42
- 1/2-hour ride: $32, cash discount $30
- All discounts are for the 1-hour ride
- $40/person for boys/girls clubs’ activities, youth group activity
- $40 for veteran/military
- 2 person minimum
Riders must be 8 years old and 50″ tall to ride. Sadly, we don’t have the small horses we used to. We apologize to the little ones who were waiting to be 7 years old so they could ride!
For the health and safety of our horses, our weight limit is 220lbs. All riders are weighed on arrival with the exception of small children.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a 24-hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee. For a reservation made the day before your ride, cancellations must be made by 5:00pm to avoid the fee.
